1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing our website thegoldencrustapp.com and purchasing our products, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree with these terms, please do not use our site or purchase our products.

2. Products and Services

We offer a single digital membership:

• AI Profit Copilot Membership — $49/month: access to the AI Profit Copilot dashboard with document uploads, profit audits, saved history, cost & margin trends, and a secure document archive.
• Included with membership: The Golden Crust Digital Manual (PDF), the Commercial Lease Guide, and the Master Costing Excel Tool.

All products are delivered digitally through the Vault, our secure members area.

3. Payment and Billing

• All payments are processed by Paddle, our official Merchant of Record.
• Paddle handles invoicing, VAT, and applicable taxes based on your location.
• 7-day free trial: your payment details are collected when you sign up for the trial, but no fee is charged during the 7-day trial period.
• At the end of the 7-day trial, membership is automatically billed at $49 per month unless you cancel before the trial ends. Paddle displays the applicable currency and taxes based on your location at checkout.
• After that first payment, the subscription renews automatically each month until cancelled.

4. Delivery

When your free trial begins (or after payment confirmation), you will receive an email containing your Vault login credentials. Membership access is immediate.

5. Intellectual Property

All content in our digital products (text, images, audio, materials) is protected by copyright and remains the exclusive property of The Golden Crust Co. Your purchase grants you a personal, non-transferable license to use the content. Any reproduction, distribution, or resale is strictly prohibited.

6. User Accounts

• Upon purchase, an account is automatically created for you to access the Vault.
• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials.
• Sharing your credentials or unauthorized access may result in account suspension.

7. Refunds

Our refund policy is detailed on our Refund Policy page. In summary, we offer a full refund within 30 days of your first successful subscription charge. Since no amount is charged during the 7-day free trial, there is nothing to refund during that period.

8. Subscriptions, Cancellation & Data Access

For our subscription plans, the following terms govern cancellation and access to your documents:

• During the free trial: if you schedule cancellation during the trial, you keep access until the effective cancellation date. If you have never made a payment and the cancellation takes effect — or your first payment fails — access to paid features ends, but your saved documents are preserved in accordance with our retention schedule.
• You may cancel your subscription at any time. For an already-paid subscription, cancellation does not end your access immediately: you keep full access until the end of the billing period you have already paid for.
• After that paid period ends, a 30-day read-only retrieval window begins. During this window you can log in, view, and download your existing documents individually. You can no longer upload new files, run AI audits, or create new paid data.
• When the 30-day window expires, access to the Vault and paid features is blocked. Your documents then become eligible for deletion or anonymization in accordance with our retention schedule.
• Certain records — payment, tax, fraud-prevention, and legal-obligation records — are retained longer where required by law.
• You may request early erasure by writing to [email protected], subject to our legal retention obligations. Backup copies are purged on our normal backup rotation cycle.

9. Limitation of Liability

Our products are provided for informational and educational purposes. We do not guarantee any specific business results. The Golden Crust Co. shall not be held liable for any losses or damages arising from the use of our products.

10. Governing Law

These terms are governed by French law. Any disputes shall be submitted to the competent courts of Paris, France.

11. Changes

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Changes take effect upon publication on this page. We encourage you to review this page regularly.
